Dichotomy that destroys the utopian delusion causes despair!

The title might seem boring and insipid but it has a profound meaning for me which I am about to illustrate. Please let me take you through this thought in all its facets. It has different perspectives to offer and it would be injustice if I didn't mention all the ones that I've thought, still it might have further a few more interpretations which I leave to the reader to offer.
This morning, as I was cleaning the space outside my house, I wondered why my mother asks me to do all the cleaning jobs especially the ones which involves outdoors exclusively early in the morning, and when I asked her, the reply was "People outside would look down upon you for doing household chores". Umm, really? Such replies give more insight into the mind of the narrator which I am sorry to say is feeble-minded. She expects me to do the work but conceal the fact that I do this work with the fear of being judged by others. This indirectly means she judges others with the same mindset. Here comes the dichotomy of people when it comes to saying one thing and doing other or secretly expecting not what they say or the opposite of what they say. Speech can be mercurial and could be bent the way one wants to but at the end of the day, you have to face your mind, your conscience which could not be deluded with equivocalness.
Another instance is in love and relationships in which one says something or puts up an affectation of socially amiable or socially congruous behavior whereas actually they expect very differently than what they say or convey. This dichotomy, although, it seems amusing when your partner or spouse is able to decipher the implication or dichotomy, magnifies to a big misunderstanding, if the intended meaning isn't comprehended, which could result an imminent expiration of the relationship. And although ignorance is good and most desired (at least by me) in such cases, reality does find a way to sink in and destroy the delusion which ignorance has colored. Sometime, reality will destroy the ignorance and when that happens and you will understand the Ecclessiastes 1:18 quote "He that Increaseth  knowledge, increaseth  sorrow" which I got to know through the movie Liberal Arts.
Getting back to the point tackled in second paragraph, I would mention, tonight, when we went to buy the idol of Ganesha, my Dad was furious over the increasing number of vehicles and was uttering malice for all those having cars and also bitching about these people. But he likes the idea of me growing into a rich man and own a Volkswagen which is totally fine just because I am his child and others are simply conveniently ostracized from our small family. We do belong to a society when we desire the rights which could be reaped but when it comes to empathizing with problems and making efforts to improve the situation, we belong to no bigger institution than our own family. People just like to bitch about problems but talking in a positive sense and making a difference is always turned down as a Herculean task; Not that I am an exception to it but I say, at least don't criticize/ bitch about or talk malice about anyone or anything in the society; if you can't empathize, at least don't show antipathy. This is another instance of dichotomy used to serve personal interests.
To end on a positive note, I have kept this point for the last. Everything in nature occurs in pairs and understanding one facet individually does not invoke the same viscerality for the facet as that when you understand both of them in conjunction and not in isolation. This is a positive aspect of dichotomy which many songs, authors, scientists and spiritualists testify. To name a few,

    - You cannot love someone as much as you can miss them.  - An abundance of Katherines, John Green.

-Hey, you only need the light when its burning low,
Only miss the sun when it starts to snow,
Only know you love her when you let her go.     - Let her go, Passenger.

-The Chinese philosophy of Yin and Yang      - Spirituality.

     -The basis of everything
Atoms consist of electrons and protons which exhibit a strong force of attraction to keep the atom in one piece. Even here, positive charge can't be explained without having a negative charge and vice-versa.

The hitch here is that this approach always leads to paradoxical situations and circular definitions instead of being rigid and exact but that's exactly how our life is- relative and not absolute. We can resonate with the fact that life is paradoxical, we do change and may even become hypocrites when compared with different versions of our own self. I can go on adulating about Atticus Finch and I do aspire to be him i.e. be as in public/ society as you are at home but "To Kill A MockingBird" although very gripping is still fiction.
